Leaves shall be separated from all other brush and placed only in recyclable paper bags, except during the months of November, December, April, and May. Recyclable paper bags shall not exceed 50 pounds in weight when filled.
During the months of November, December, April, and May, when the volume of leaves makes it impractical to place them in bags, leaves shall be placed in piles at the edge of the street for collection by the City. Piles of leaves shall not block or impede the flow of pedestrian or vehicular traffic and shall not exceed more than 3 feet into the street from the curb. Any leaves which are not properly contained or piled at the edge of the street shall not be collected by the City.
