Public Events
The Long Branch Senior Center offers a couple evening events per month that are open to the public without age or residency restrictions:
- History in Motion educational series – Local historians come and speak to history enthusiasts on various local topics of interest
- City Showcase – Live, elevated musical performances – opera, classical music, professional dance, and so much more!
Exercise Classes
- Broadway Jazz & Dance - Stay in shape while dancing to your favorite Broadway musical numbers! Beginners and seasoned dancers are welcome in this guaranteed fun-filled class for everyone!
- Chair Yoga - This chair yoga class blends traditional poses and breathing to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and calm the mind.
- Line & Square Dancing - Join Carole and friends for fun Line Dancing classes, where you can practice favorite routines, learn new steps, and burn calories - great for your legs!
- Mix It Up! - This energetic class combines cardio, weights, bands, and exercise balls for a fun and dynamic workout to get you moving!
- Move & Groove - Senior fitness specialist Sherri Ehrlich leads a one-hour, moderate-intensity class that combines rhythm movement and strength training and leaves you feeling engaged and energized!
- Zumba Gold - Enjoy creative routines with body sculpting moves and dance steps set to Latin and exotic music. No dance experience required. All fitness levels welcome.
