FOX WEATHER INTERVIEWS CHIEF GUARDA
Fire Chief Miguel Guarda and members of the LBFD Tour #1 had a lot of fun hosting the crew from FOX Weather on July 20th, 2023!
Fox Weather's Nick Kosir - The Dancing Weatherman visited Fire Headquarters to speak to Chief Guarda and get a lesson in firefighting in the summer heat.
LBFD Fire Fighters helped Nick into full gear and weighed him before & after to see how many pounds of equipment firefighters typically carry. Nick's equipment weighed in at 100 pounds! They also let him have a try at operating the fire hose and gave him a ride along on the truck.
