A Message from the City of Long Branch Regarding Today's Storm:
Due to the storm forecasted for our area, we would like to remind you that our Office of Emergency Management staff, police department, fire department and EMS are all prepared to respond and serve our community. This storm is expected to bring heavy rain, wind, and possible flooding from rivers and streams. Be aware of downed power lines and report all downed wires by dialing 9-1-1, as downed wires are considered an emergency. Treat all downed power lines as if they were live. Do not go near them.
Please report any power outage to your provider JCP&L at 888-544-4877 or text "O.U.T." to 5-4-4-4-8-7 or go to firstenergycorp.com/outages .
