All Long Branch Beaches are switched to a RED FLAG due to dangerous conditions from Hurricane Erin. Swimming restrictions will be in effect across all beaches. NO SWIMMING!
NWS Mount Holly reports that “Hurricane Erin is expected to bring several coastal and marine hazards to the coasts of New Jersey and Delaware through Friday. Widespread coastal flooding, high surf, high risk of rip currents, beach erosion, and dangerous marine conditions are forecast”.
